An entrance will be made at Namo Ghat to reach the tent city situated on the picturesque banks of the Ganges. Tourists will first have to come to Namo Ghat, then by boat they can go across the Ganges to the tent city, admiring the amazing view of Kashi. Motorboat arrangements have also been made for this. Kashi Mahotsav will also be organized in the city of tents on the lines of Ranotsav of Kutch in Gujarat. Tourists will be engaged through a series of events from January to May.
Several programs will be organized to connect the tourists of the tent city with the religion, art and culture of Kashi. The complete outline has been prepared for this. The package for tourists is also being expanded. An attempt has been made to include religion, art and literature of entire Banaras in the package. City tour and other facilities will also be provided to tourists taking packages of two nights and three days or more. The companies that set up tent cities are also taking care of the convenience of the tourists. Motor boats are being arranged by the companies. The tourists will stay in the tent city from January 15. Therefore, the center of tourism is also being made. Water sports facilities will be available for the tourists. There will also be other types of sports facilities including speed boat, banana boat, all terrain motorcycle (ATV). Actually, preparations are being finalized before the inauguration. In the tent city package, tourists will be taken to historical and religious places including Heritage Walk, Sarnath and Padma Gali tour. Along with the water route, arrangements will be made to take tours by road.
Matting will make the whole area sand free Two-level matting has been done on the land of this city situated on the sand. Due to this the entire area became sand free. Despite being built on sand, sand will not be found inside the tent. Tents have been installed only after matting. Such facilities will be provided in the tent city, which will not allow the tourists to feel the bitter cold. Tent city can be reached from Namo Ghat by boat. The tourists who come will be taken to Ganga Vihar for 30 minutes. Kashi Mahotsav will be made grand by various events along with water sports.
