After Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Tent City has emerged as a center of attraction for domestic tourists. According to Gaurav Pandey, GM of Tent City, the booking of tents from January 15 to 20 has been completed. Most bookings have been made by South Indian tourists.
According to Tent City officials, 70 per cent domestic tourists (Indian) and 30 per cent foreign tourists have made bookings. Of the 70 per cent Indians, about 55 per cent are South Indians. 30 percent of foreign tourists include travelers from UK, USA, Canada, Germany. The civilization of Tent City Kashi is colored in the color of culture. Here tourists will feel the spirituality of Kashi.
Tourists will have to pay Rs 6,000 to Rs 30,000 to stay in the tent city. Booking has started from December 15 on the website for online booking from January 15. In the tent city, tourists can book deluxe, super deluxe, premium and Ganga Darshan villas. Different luxury facilities are available in different cottages.
There is a kund on the jetty for bathing in the Ganges in the tent city. The view of the Ganges and beyond will also be visible from the watch tower. Apart from Banarasi food, the dining hall built here will be equipped with all the facilities. In this, 800 people can be present at a time.
