Hyderabad/ New Delhi: A Dalit leader from Telangana has made very objectionable remarks about the architect of the Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Dalit leader has made this shameful comment by releasing a video on social media. Hamara Prasad, a leader who runs an organization called Rashtriya Dalit Sena in Telangana, has said that ‘if Dr Ambedkar was alive, he would have shot him’. Prasad has said that ‘he would have shot Ambedkar in the same way as Nathuram Godse had shot Mahatma Gandhi’. After this video went viral, the Telangana police arrested the Dalit leader.

Prasad says that Ambedkar has hurt the sentiments of Hindus through this book. In this video, which is becoming increasingly viral, the Dalit leader is seen holding Dr. Ambedkar’s book in his hand. At the same time, he is seen saying, ‘I would have killed Ambedkar in the same way as Godse had shot Gandhi’.

After Hamara Prasad’s video went viral, the Hyderabad Police swung into action and arrested the Dalit leader. The Hyderabad Police has registered a case against the Dalit leader under sections 153A and 505(2) of the Indian Penal Code. Police interrogation of the accused is going on.
