THREE male college students allegedly shot a video of a 19-year-old woman in Bhopal altering her garments within the rest room of a city-based institute the place all of them research, after which tried to extort cash from her by threatening to flow into the video, in accordance to police as quoted by information company PTI.

“The accused showed the video to one of the victim’s friends and demanded money, threatening that if she failed to do so, they would make the clip viral on social media. After the victim came to know about this, she panicked and left her house,” Piplani Police Station in-charge Ajay Nayar mentioned whereas quoting the criticism.
The woman went lacking from her dwelling on Thursday. So, the member of the family’s went to the police station and lodged a lacking individual’s report. She was later recovered by police inside two hours from the railway station.
The case was later transferred to the Ashok Garden police station, which has jurisdiction over the institute.
According to Alok Shrivastava, in-charge of the Ashoka Garden police station, a case was filed towards the three male college students beneath related sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology (IT) Act based mostly on the sufferer’s criticism.
One of the accused has been arrested, and a seek for two different lacking college students is underway, he mentioned, including that the accused and sufferer are each college students on the similar college.
According to Shrivastava, additional investigation into the case is underway.
