It is noteworthy that in December last year, PM Modi had flagged off the first Vande Bharat train of Eastern India running between Howrah to New Jalpaiguri through video conference. A few days after the commencement of the Vande Bharat train, there was stone pelting on this train. After this, there was also stone pelting on the train near Bihar’s Kishanganj district bordering Bengal, due to which the glass panes were broken. Now once again there has been stone pelting on Vande Bharat. At present, the Railways is probing the matter. Officials say that strict action will be taken if the accused are identified.
