Self-interest priority from India; Regarding foreign policy. Jaishankar's clarification

New Delhi : ‘According to the foreign policy, while implementing it, India is giving priority to self-interest and will continue to give it. Apart from this, what will be the country’s country, they are the policy of Ruchel, Patel, considering all these things, we don’t take our decision’, in the words of External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stood by India’s foreign policy on Friday.

Participating in the ‘Times Now Summit 2022’ organized by ‘Times Now’ S. Jaishankar discussed various dimensions of the country’s foreign policy. ‘Aaple sejari desh kunihi aso, aapne aapne aapya sakta karne karne usrucha devyayla hawe’, says Jaishankar in his commentary on Sino-Indian relations. Talking about China and considering the relation between the two countries, both the things are mainly in front of our eyes. You lost the 1962 China-China war. That’s the year of defeat, today we don’t have any thoughts. The second thing is that of economic reforms. China has started the process of economic reforms in the last half of its time. That’s why it will take you some more time to reach Chinala in the economic sector. Thinking about China or both things are in front of us’, said Jaishankar.

‘Today, everyone is aware of the fact that the leadership of India, Narendra Modi, has the ability to take very tough decisions. After the year 2020, China has kept the army’s army organized, it will be clear from there, Jaishankar also mentioned.

‘Pakistan’s issues have been differences with the western countries for a long time. Differences keep on increasing, but they have not been destroyed yet. Western countries are in favor of India regarding the 26-11 attack, while on some other issues they are against India’, said Jaishankar.

‘There is no desire for development in the border area, because the concern for its security would have automatically disappeared, such a policy would have been foreign policy for some people 10 years ago. Merely today the situation has changed’, it was mentioned, ‘How to do development on the border?’, Jaishankar raised such a question. ‘Development in the original border areas is not against anyone. And we don’t take decisions about foreign policy according to someone else’s choice. Self-defense is taken by giving priority’, said Jaishankar Nikshoon.

five year test

Mentioning Corona, Ukraine war etc., ‘There will be future crises of some kind and we will be ready to face them’, said Jaishankar. These at least five years will be a test for you. At that time, it is necessary for the country to have a capable leadership that takes care of the economy’, added Jaishankar in the book.
