Due to the cold wave and dense fog, the timings of all schools from primary to intermediate in Chandauli have changed. DM Isha Duhan gave this information by tweeting late on Wednesday night.
The DM told that all the schools from Thursday till Inter will open from 10 am to 2 pm. This rule will be applicable from 22 to 31 December. This order will be applicable to all schools of Secondary Education Council, CBSE, ICSC and Madarsa Board. DM Isha Duhan said that classes should not be conducted before 10 am and after 3 pm under any circumstances. On Wednesday morning, there was a sudden decrease of four degree Celsius in the temperature. Nothing was visible through the thick fog. He had to be taken with great caution by lighting the lights of other vehicles including the school bus. Due to high humidity in the air on Wednesday morning, the cold also increased. Meteorologist SN Pandey told that due to snowfall on the mountains, the moisture in the air has increased. Dense fog and cold are expected to increase in the coming three-four days.
