An order has been issued to reopen closed schools in Varanasi due to severe cold. All schools up to Inter in the district will run from 10 am to 2 pm from Monday, January 16. Its order was issued by District Magistrate S Rajalingam on Sunday.

The District Magistrate told that the timing of the school will be from 10 am to 2 pm in view of the cold in the morning and evening. All council schools, schools affiliated to CBSE, CISCE and all other boards will be run according to this time-table.

Please tell that for the last three-four days there is good sunshine in the day. Even the westerly winds are not blowing. The temperature also continues to rise. Because of this people are feeling relieved. The weather was similar on Sunday as well. Meteorologist SN Pandey says that after two days the weather pattern will change once again. There is a possibility of increasing cold along with dense fog.
