New Delhi: India has announced the team for the T20 World Cup 2022. In which many veterans were also very angry with the fans for not including Sanju Samson in the team. There was also a lot of criticism from BCCI due to Sanju being in the team. But, now recently Sanju has been given the captaincy of India-A. To which now former Pakistan player Danish Kaneria has reacted.
Kaneria praised Sanju Samson. He said, ‘Sanju has a very good fan following. His batting style would have been the X-factor for you in Australia. No one can play better than Sanju on a bouncy wicket. However, Sanju has now been made the captain of India A. But, the BCCI did not include him in the team for the T20 World Cup, then under pressure, handed him the captaincy.

Kaneria further said, ‘It is a matter of pride to captain our national team in any category. In such a situation, this is the most special opportunity for Sanju Samson. If India A series wins under his captaincy then it will be very good for his career.
Let us tell you that the New Zealand-A team is on a tour of India. During this, an unofficial series of three Test matches is also being played. This will be followed by an unofficial series of three ODIs. The BCCI has named Sanju as the captain of India A for the ODI series. This series will start from 22 September, while the last match of the series will be played on 27 September.
