Mumbai : The World Economic Conference is going to be held in Davos in 2023. Representatives of all the states of the country will participate in this conference. But, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is about to visit Maharashtra, so Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis canceled the Davos tour. At the same time, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is going to return to the state after finishing the tour from Davos soon. Now Thackeray faction MP Sanjay Raut has reprimanded Shinde-Fadnavis and alleged that this government is not taking the investment seriously.
Sanjay Raut said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Mumbai for a few hours. The date of the Prime Minister’s visit can be changed on request. But the Chief Minister-Deputy Chief Minister’s goal is to defeat the Shiv Sena and the Mumbai municipal elections. If the Prime Minister was requested, he would have postponed the date. He said that all the state representatives of the country are going to Davos and our government is canceling the tour, so Maharashtra government is not serious about investment.

Sanjay Raut further targeted the government and said, “The Prime Minister was coming to Mumbai, so the Deputy Chief Minister canceled the Davos visit. The Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister of the state are more concerned about the Mumbai Municipal Elections than the investment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) will come to Mumbai on 19 January. Preparations for Modi’s visit are in full swing. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held a meeting on Tuesday to review the preparations for Prime Minister Modi’s visit. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate various development works and do Bhoomipujan during this visit. PM will inaugurate 2 new lines of Mumbai Metro including Metro 2A and Metro 7.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were scheduled to visit Davos on January 15 to attend the investment summit. CM Shinde will go to Davos as planned but will return to Mumbai on January 18. However, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has canceled his visit to Davos due to the visit of Prime Minister Modi.
