Mumbai : A bad news has come out from Telugu cinema, famous film director of Telugu films Vidyasagar Reddy aka Sagar Garu has passed away. He said goodbye to this world at the age of 70 due to age related diseases. If reports are to be believed, Sagar Garu breathed his last at around 6 am. As soon as this news came to the fore, there was a wave of mourning in the industry.

Expressing grief, many big stars of the industry are paying tribute to him. Sagar Garu’s demise was confirmed by film director Srinu Vaitla. Who tweeted the news of Sagar Garu’s demise with his Twitter handle. Expressing grief, he wrote, “It is very sad to know that my Guru Sagar Guru is no more. He took care of all his assistants with great love and taught many valuable things. He was a great support to all of us. You will always be remembered Sir Om Shanti.”

Let us tell you that Sagar Garu started his directorial career in 1983 with the film ‘Rakasi Loya’. He gave 40 films to the industry in his directorial career. Which includes films like ‘Kaidi Brothers’, ‘Stuarthapuram Dongalu’ and ‘Ramasakkanodu’. Sagar Garu was mostly known for directing family films. Not only this, Sagar Garu had been the President of Telugu Film Directors Association three times.
