Road Accident: CM Yogi took cognizance of the Lakhimpur Kheri truck accident, called for the report of the entire case A to Z Counsel

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the horrific truck accident in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi has called for the report of the entire matter, IG level officers will investigate the matter. Along with this, instructions have been given to give Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the injured.

Truck crushed the crowd gathered to see the injured, five killed, five injured

Let us tell you that Lakhimpur Kheri is about ten km from the city on the Pilibhit-Basti road. The truck ran over 10 people at 7:30 pm on Saturday in the distant Pangi Khurd village. Five of these people lost their lives, while five were seriously injured. These people had gathered to see the scooty rider who was injured in a car collision shortly before. On the other hand, CM Yogi expressed grief over the accident by tweeting and gave instructions for speedy relief and rescue.

The truck which caused the incident was coming from Bahraich to Lakhimpur. After the accident, there was hue and cry on the spot and there was a long jam on the way. Meanwhile the truck driver escaped from there. SP Ganesh Prasad Saha and CO City Sandeep Singh also reached on information. Officials have confirmed the death of only four people.

Among those who died, three people from Pangi Khurd village, Karan (14) son Diwan Nishad, Rizwan (20) son Jalil, Paras Nishad (84) besides Karunesh Verma (30) son Ramnaresh of Tirathpur Kakarha village and another unknown are included. Of the five injured in the accident, four are from Pangi Khurd.
