Nagpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of Samruddhi Highway on 11 December. Since then the Samruddhi Highway has been in the news. The news of accidents on this highway is coming in the coming days. Now once again an accident has happened on the Samruddhi Highway.
A horrific road accident has happened near Karanja in Washim district. Two people have died and two are seriously injured in this accident. A girl child has also lost her life in this accident. On the other hand, the people injured in this accident are undergoing treatment in Akola.

According to the information received, this horrific accident happened around 2 am in the morning. It is learned that the occupants of the car are residents of Nagpur. The accident happened while going from Mumbai to Nagpur. Locals said that the accident was so severe that the dead girl was thrown out of the car and fell a few feet away. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the local people immediately ran for help and started the rescue operation. Four people were present in the car at the time of the accident.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis themselves tested the route by traveling from Nagpur to Shirdi before its inauguration on December 11. This entire highway has been constructed by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation ie MSRDC. However, when this highway was opened for traffic, a serious matter came to the fore that there were not enough facilities on this road.
