After the inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, an unprecedented increase has been recorded in the number of devotees coming from the country and abroad. Keeping in view the number of devotees in the coming days, initiatives are being taken to further improve the system of crowd management. Along with barricading, help desk and announcing system have been expanded in Dham.
Devotees from all over the country coming to visit Baba Vishwanath will not have any linguistic problem. Along with making announcements in the Dham in the language of every state of South India, announcements are also being made in English. Along with this, helpdesks will also be set up according to the states.
Seven crore devotees have attended the Baba Darbar in the last 11 months since the inauguration of Vishwanath Dham. Along with this, an offering of 27 crores has been made to Baba Vishwanath so far in the current financial year. Since its launch, an offering of Rs 40 crore has been made so far. On the first day of the new year, more than seven lakh devotees visited, while in the month of Sawan, the number of devotees was 1.25 crore. Chief Executive Officer Sunil Kumar Verma said that seven crore devotees have worshiped in the temple in 11 months since its inauguration. Continuous efforts are being made to improve crowd management.

Talking about the expenditure incurred in Dham, Rs 38 lakh was spent in April 2021 and Rs 76 lakh in May 2021. 31 lakh has been spent in April 2022 and one crore 25 lakh in the month of May. It also includes salaries, general expenses, arrangements and contingencies. The CEO informed that the highest donation of Rs 26.65 crore was made in the financial year 2018-19. Prior to that, the figure of offering used to be only Rs 10 to 12 crores annually.

Srikashi Vishwanath Dham broke all records of offerings in its very first year. In the last one year, the devotees of Shiva who came from all over the country and the world to visit Shrikashi Vishwanath, have freely offered cash, gold, silver and other metals in Baba’s court. According to the estimation of the temple administration, the total value of the offerings is more than 100 crores. And from 13 December 2021 to 12 December, seven crore 35 lakh 82 thousand 042 devotees had darshan.
Since the inauguration of the Dham in Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, till now the devotees have donated cash of more than 50 crores. Out of this, 40 percent amount has been received online. At the same time, metals worth more than 50 crores (60 kg gold, 10 kg silver and 1500 kg copper) have also been found in the offering. The outer and inner walls of the sanctum sanctorum have been gilded with gold and copper.
Chief Executive Officer of Srikashi Vishwanath Temple Sunil Kumar Verma said that from December 13, 2021 till now, devotees have donated more than Rs 100 crore. This is the highest in the history of the temple. Also, compared to last year, this amount is almost five hundred percent more.

The cost of construction will be recovered in four to five years.
The Chief Executive Officer said that about Rs 900 crore was spent on the construction and compensation of Srikashi Vishwanath Corridor. In the coming time, the number of devotees is sure to increase with the expansion of facilities in the Dham. The offerings from the devotees of Shiva will also increase. Apart from the offerings, there will be additional income from the buildings constructed in the corridor. It is believed that the cost of the corridor will be recovered in the next four to five years from the offerings of devotees and income from the newly constructed buildings in the complex.

The convenience of the devotees has increased after the inauguration
The Chief Executive Officer said that after the inauguration, the facilities for the devotees are being continuously increased by the temple trust. Special attention has been given to cleanliness along with drinking water system, shade system, mats and other basic facilities. 50 employees are employed in Sugam Darshan system, while 200 personnel have been employed in cleanliness system and 100 personnel have been deployed to provide better security and facilities to the visitors. Apart from this, lockers, help desks have been set up. Wheel chairs have been arranged for the convenience of old and disabled people coming to visit the temple.
