Nagpur. A sensational case came to light in Wadi police station area. A young man trapped a 15-year-old girl in his trap. He kept raping her by giving false pretenses. Meanwhile, the girl’s health deteriorated. On reaching the hospital, she was found to be pregnant and the incident came to light. Police registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s mother. The accused was called Aman Vijay Thakre (20), a resident of Wadi.
The victim studies in class 10th. Aman befriended her while going to school in the month of November last year. Both of them kept talking for some days. One day Aman asked her to go for a walk with him. Took her to his house on the pretext. Raped her on the pretext of marriage. After this, he continued to make the victim a victim of lust.
The victim was not feeling well for the last few days. 2 days ago the family took him to the doctor for treatment. The doctor checked and told that she is pregnant. The ground slipped under the feet of the family members. During interrogation, the victim informed about the rape by Aman. Immediately he was taken to the Wadi police station and a report was lodged. Police arrested Aman after registering a case under various sections including rape and POCSO Act.
