It is noteworthy that even before this, Giriraj Singh had targeted the statement of JDU MLC Ghulam Rasool Balyavi. Ghulam Rasool had said that, if any finger was raised towards Prophet Muhammad, Muslims would turn every city into Karbala. He said that Muslims will not hesitate as their life and breath is not for them but for the Prophet. At the same time, Giriraj Singh accused the JDU leader of disturbing the communal harmony of the country by making such statements.
