Rain has wreaked havoc in Firozabad district. An innocent and a villager have died in accidents during rains in different areas. Many people have been injured. In Banshi Nagar of Shikohabad, the old house collapsed during the rain on Thursday. A seven-year-old boy died in the accident, while seven people, including a policeman, were injured. In Jasrana’s village Nagla Gave, a villager has died due to wall collapse in the early morning. Due to heavy rain in Fariha area, the wall of the Girls Primary School collapsed. Luckily the school was closed, otherwise an accident could have happened. Several people were injured when a house collapsed on Avagarh Road.

In the village Nagla Sada of Tundla area, an accident occurred due to wall collapse, in which two including the elderly were injured. Due to heavy rains, the houses situated on its banks came in a state of collapse due to overflow of puddles in village Chulahavali. On this information, the accountant and block staff reached the spot with JCB. He has asked the family to vacate the house.

Sunil’s old house collapsed on Thursday morning in Banshi Nagar, Shikohabad. The family members were buried in the debris. Sunil’s six-year-old son Shivam died. Seven people were injured. After the accident, there was chaos in the family. The injured have been admitted to hospital.

Ishaq Ali (57) son Asghar Ali, a resident of Nagla Gawe village of Jasrana, was sleeping with his son Zahid Ali (13) in a shed outside the house. The wall collapsed due to heavy rain at four o’clock on Thursday morning. While buried under the rubble, Ishaq Ali died on the spot, his son Zahid Ali was injured.

After the accident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. People pulled out the middle-aged who was buried under the rubble. On receiving the information, SDM Vivek Rajput, Tehsildar Pushpendra Singh and police force reached the spot. While explaining to the villagers, he talked about providing financial assistance to the relatives of the deceased.

65-year-old Todi Singh and seven-year-old Arpit son Yogesh, sitting in the shop, were buried under the rubble when the wall of the house fell on the shop in Nagla Sada village of Tundla. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
