Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Saturday inspected the Kashi railway station involved in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project. He said that the entire station would be rebuilt for Rs 350 crore. The construction work will be completed in two-and-a-half to three years. The Railway Minister suddenly reached Namo Ghat to see the proposed model for making the Signature Bridge. After this, information was also obtained from the memorial site of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay located at the halt and after that reached Kashi railway station.

Viewed the proposed layout of IMS (Inter Model Station). He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is always striving for all-round development. In this episode, this station is to be rebuilt. For this, a new double-decker bridge will be built on the Ganges river, on which trains will pass below and trains from above.

He said that economic activities will increase in the surrounding areas. This station will be built keeping in mind the religious culture of Banaras. With the consent of the Prime Minister, work will start soon and the target is to complete it in two-and-a-half to three years.

Bullet train will run from Varanasi to New Delhi soon
Railway and Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the work of bullet train on Ahmedabad-Mumbai route is in progress. On the same lines, bullet train will also be run between Varanasi to New Delhi. During the inspection of development works at Kashi station on Saturday, the last day of the two-day tour, the Railway Minister said that a provision of sleeper coach has been made in the Vande Bharat Express returned in the new feature, which will give relief to long distance passengers.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav put an end to the issues arising from time to time regarding the privatization of railways. He said that there is no question of privatization of railways. Railways will give promotion to the better performing employees on the basis of their merit. He said these things during a meeting with officials held at Kashi and Banaras railway stations.

During this, he was asked to include youngster in every project, so that he could remain associated with the project for a long time with modern thinking and enthusiasm. This will also benefit the Railways. He asked to involve maximum youth from all the divisions in the re-development work of Kashi.

After this, after the program organized at BHU, reached Banaras station. Where he held a meeting with the officers in the VIP lounge. He assured all the officers and employees that railways would not be privatized. Eligible officers-employees will be promoted to important posts on the basis of their merit. The Railway Minister also clarified the views of the Government and the Ministry regarding IRMS. Said that everyone will now be kept in the same cadre.

Now there is a preparation to make ten Vande Bharat Express trains every month. Along with this, provisions will also be made for sleeper coaches in the train. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave this information during the inspection at Kashi railway station. He said that there is a plan to run Vande Bharat Express across the country. Two Vande Bharat were prepared every month. But, now four are being made every month. Very soon we will prepare ten Vande Bharat Express every month, which will also be made in Rae Bareli, Latur and Kapurthala. In this connection, I am also going to inspect Rae Bareli. Another Vande Bharat train will be run from Varanasi in future.
