Railway administration has taken traffic block from 17 November to 12 December due to the remodeling work of Kochuveli yard. Due to this, partial cancellation of trains has been done and some trains will be run in a controlled manner. This information was given by Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway.

- 12512 Kochuveli-Gorakhpur Express scheduled to depart Kochuveli on 11 December will be diverted to Ernakulam. This train will remain partially canceled from Kochuveli to Ernakulam.
- 12511 Gorakhpur-Kochuveli Express scheduled to depart Gorakhpur on 8 December will be diverted to Ernakulam. This train will remain canceled from Ernakulam to Kochuveli.
- 12511 Gorakhpur-Kochuveli Express scheduled to depart from Gorakhpur on 9th December will be short terminated at Kollam Junction. Train will remain canceled from Kollam to Kochuveli.

Prayagraj Sangam-Basti Express will run from Mankapur
Due to the block for engineering work at Basti station, the railway administration has decided to terminate the journey of 14231 Prayagraj Sangam-Basti Express at Mankapur instead of Basti on November 23, 28 and 30 from Prayagraj Sangam. In the return journey, 14232 Basti-Prayagraj Express leaving Basti on 23, 28 and 30 November will be diverted from Mankapur instead of Basti.
