Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II will be cremated on Monday. Before this, President Draupadi Murmu reached Westminster Hall in London on Sunday afternoon. He paid tribute to the Queen on behalf of the people of India.

According to media reports, about 2,000 VVIPs will attend the funeral. According to Indian time, the last rites will take place at 3.30 pm. It will also be telecast live in many countries of the world.

In recent days, Britain has taken a very tough stance against Beijing. Apart from trade and espionage, the two countries have conflicts on many issues.

Will have to go to the funeral site by bus
Invitations have been sent only to heads of state and their spouses. The new King Charles will host dinner for the Heads of State at Buckingham Palace on Sunday evening. Heads of state have been asked to come by commercial flight. The place of funeral will have to go by bus instead of private car.

The UK has the first state funeral in 57 years. Earlier in 1965, former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was cremated. The Queen was the head of state of 15 countries during her reign. Queen Elizabeth passed away on 8 September 2022. After this his son Charles became King.

Queen’s last journey on Gun Carriage
First, the Queen’s funeral procession will be carried out from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey. That is, his coffin will be brought to Westminster Abbey. During this there will be a military parade. Members of the royal family will also be involved. The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, and his brother William, the Prince of Wales, will follow the Queen’s coffin. After the end of the State Funeral, a 2-minute silence will be observed across the country.

The Queen’s coffin will be carried in a gun carriage to Westminster Abbey. This gun carriage was used for the funerals of Edward VII, George V, George VI and Sir Winston Churchill. It will be pulled by 142 Royal Navy sailors. Here the program of the State Funeral will end. This will be followed by a private ceremony in the presence of members of the royal family and close people. The Queen will be buried at 8:30 pm (British time, 4 pm).

Upon arrival at Westminster Abbey, according to royal custom, the Queen’s death will be mourned and prayers will be read. The Queen’s coffin will then be taken to Wellington Arch, led by members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and NHS staff. From here the coffin will be taken to Vinsder Castle. After a ceremony at 8:30 p.m., the Queen will be buried at St George’s Memorial Chapel at Vinsder Castle.
