Ramnaresh Nishad of Ayodhya was murdered by his own friend in the affair of Ashnai. The accused and Ramnaresh had fallen in love with the same girl. The girl used to talk to both of them. In the dispute for the same, the accused Shatrughan had killed his friend Ramnaresh Nishad by beating him with an iron rod.
On Wednesday, while exposing the murder case, the police arrested the main accused Shatrughan and his brother Shiv Kumar Nishad, resident of Ramghat Halt, Ayodhya. Shiv Kumar is alleged to have helped the murderer brother to save him. Police have recovered the bike, iron rod, mobile and blood stained clothes used at the time of murder.
SP Ashish Srivastava told during the press conference at the police office that the team of SOG in-charge Rohit Upadhyay and Inspector-in-charge Shailesh Kumar Singh was deputed to expose the incident. However, Ramnaresh’s brother Suresh Nishad had filed a case of murder against Arvind resident of Mainpur Police Station Bikapur Ayodhya and Gaurav resident of Rath Haveli Police Station Kotwali Ayodhya by giving a nominated Tahrir. But after questioning these two, mobile location and Shatrughan Nishad, who came out of the house with Ram Naresh Nishad, the team probed deeply and a new story emerged. On this basis, when Shatrughan Nishad was interrogated, he confessed to the crime and told about the whole incident.
On December 4, the bloodied body of the youth was found on the roadside near Mahunghat village of Harraiya police station on the highway. He was identified as Ramnaresh Nishad (27) son of Jaggi Nishad, resident of Ram Haat Basudev Ghat Ayodhya, from the Aadhaar card and PAN card found in his wallet.
Controversy over the conversation of both with the same girl: Arrested Shatrughan Nishad told in police interrogation that on the evening of December 3, he had asked Ramu Nishad of the neighborhood for a bike to go to his aunt’s house, but instead of going to his aunt’s house, he went to Ramnaresh. Sitting on the bike went to Khalilabad in Sant Kabir Nagar.
Said to go to meet a girl. From there Tameshwarnath reached the temple and Shatrudhna stopped Ramnaresh there and went to a nearby school. When Shatrughan returned after half an hour, he told Ramnaresh the name of the girl. On hearing the name, Ramnaresh was shocked and said that he also used to talk to that girl. There was a dispute between the two about this and Ramnaresh slapped Shatrughan four-five times. After this both started going back to Ayodhya by bike. Angered by slapping, Shatrughan killed Ramnaresh by taking out an iron rod tied to his bike near Mahunghat of Harraiya police station.
On reaching home, Shatrughan’s brother Shivkumar got suspicious after seeing blood splatters on the clothes. Shatrudhna told him about the murder. Police say that to save Shatrughan, Shivakumar burnt his clothes and hid the bike at his acquaintance’s place. The police arrested him as co-accused on charges of giving protection to the criminal and trying to destroy the evidence.
Those whom the family raised suspicions turned out to be innocent: The reason for doubting the two people on whom Ramnaresh’s brother had filed a named case of murder was different. In fact, about six months back, Ramnaresh had eloped with a girl. A few days later, the Ayodhya police recovered the girl and arrested Ramnaresh. m
The girl had given a statement in favor of Ramnaresh in the court, so he was released from jail. The family members of Ramnaresh suspected that the same girl’s brother-in-law Arvind, resident of Mainpur police station, Bikapur Ayodhya and Gaurav, resident of Rath Haveli police station, Ayodhya, together killed her, but both turned out to be innocent.
