Kohima: Town and Chinchwad assembly elections are being discussed in the state. Kasbyat Mahavikas Aghadi has given a push to the Bharatiya Janata Party. The constituency held by BJP since 1995 has been wrested by Ravindra Dhangekar of Congress. And on the other hand, Chinchwadchi jaga rakhali aahe. Ashwini Jagtap, wife of late MLA Laxman Jagtap, has defeated about 12,000 people of Nationalist’s maternal grandfather. Ramdas Athavale’s Republican Party of India created history in Nagaland during the discussion between BJP and Mahavikas Aghadi in the state.
Nagaland is ruled by the National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and the BJP. NDPP yutimdhala motha bhau aahe. There are 60 seats in the state assembly. Out of these, 12 candidates of Jaganwar alliance have won. And 27 Jaganwars have Aghadi aahe. That’s why the continuation of the NDPP-BJP government seems to be a relief. Republican Party of India has 8 seats in the state. Will support the NDPP-BJP government if it remains in power, Union Minister of State and President of Repache Ramdas Athawale had declared.

Athavale, who wanted to support the ruling party if it continues, gave candidates for 8 constituencies. His candidates won in 2 places. There is not a single MLA from the party of Maharashtra’s Athavale. Only he has got two candidates elected in Theat Nagaland. In the history of Nagaland assembly elections, Ripaila has achieved success for the first time. Specially, both their candidates defeated the candidates of NDPP or the ruling party.

Repaiche Imtichoba emerged victorious from the Tuensang Sadar 2nd Assembly Constituency. He got 5514 votes. He defeated Odibendang Chang of NDPP. Chang got 5114 votes. In this constituency, Naga People’s Front’s Jhungkum Chang came third by getting 4487 votes. Noksen Constituency RPyche Lima Onen Chang won by getting 5151 votes. Chang got 50.73 percent of the vote. He only defeated the NDPP’s candidate. NDPP’s Chuba Chang got 4831 votes.
