The car returning from the wedding ceremony late on Wednesday night at Gosaiganj in the capital Lucknow collided with the divider on the Purvanchal Expressway and overturned. Car rider Saraf and his servant died on the spot in the accident while a fellow Faheem was injured.

Police reached the information and took the injured to CHC. However, he was sent home after first aid. According to Inspector-in-charge Deepak Kumar Pandey, Sarraf Sanjay Soni (45), resident of Gosaiganj town, along with his servant Ajit and fellow Faheem, resident of Amethi town, had gone to Sultanpur by car to attend a wedding ceremony.

He was returning late night via Purvanchal Expressway. The car went uncontrolled and hit the divider near Beli village and overturned. In the accident, car rider Sanjay and his servant Ajit died on the spot while Faheem was injured. Police reached the spot, took the dead body and sent it for postmortem.
