Pune: On the occasion of its debut in the 90th year, a grand devotional evening was organized on behalf of ‘Navabharat’ at Yashwantrao Chavan Theater on Thursday. In which National Award winner and classical music singer Pt. Rahul Deshpande (Pt. Rahul Deshpande) and playback singer Arya Ambekar tied the knot with their tunes. Punekar present there got drenched in devotion from one abhanga presented by him.
Pt. Rahul Deshpande started the function with the popular abhang Jai Jai Ram Krishna Hari. After that, he composed a series of devotional songs like Tirtha Vitthal Kshetra Vitthal, Kanada Raja Pandharicha. Hearing which the people became so happy that they stood up and started repeating it with applause. After this, Arya Ambekar presented more than one abhang and devotional songs. Arya’s songs Avacita Paramdu, Runjhun Runjhun Re Bhramra made the people dance.
