As we told you, a surprising incident has come to light in Alephata of Junnar taluka. Here a tourist businessman was murdered over a dispute of Rs 50,000. Please tell that this incident took place on Tuesday, January 24, at around 8.30 pm. Interestingly, after killing the tourist businessman, the garage worker also stabbed himself. The slain tourist businessman has been identified as Vinayak alias Santosh Baban Godse (age-42, resident of Pimplavandi). The name of the murdered garage worker accused is Mayur Ashok Somvanshi.

In this regard, the complaint given by Sachin Bhimaji Jadhav at Alphata police station states that the cruiser car number MH 14 DT 5308 belonging to friend Vinayak alias Santosh Baban Godse was parked in Hyderbhai’s garage on Pune-Nashik highway for repairs a month back. Out of 7 thousand 600 of the car repair bill, Rs 7 thousand 100 was paid in cash. Mayur Somvanshi, who worked in the garage, had to pay another Rs 500.

For the remaining Rs 500, Mayur made a similar request to Godse over the phone. At around 7 pm on Tuesday evening, the accused Mayur Somvanshi abused Santosh Godse on the phone and threatened to come and see him in the garage. Santosh immediately went to the garage from Alephata Chowk. This time there was a big argument between the two. Due to this, the accused Mayur Somvanshi lifted Santosh Godse’s chest with a knife in his hand. and then stabbed himself
After that the injured Santosh Godse was admitted to a private hospital in Alephata for treatment. Later, he died while being taken to Pune for treatment. On the complaint of Sachin Jadhav, the police have registered a case against the accused Mayur Somvanshi under sections 302, 504, 506, 507 of the IPC., Police Inspector Yashwant Nalwade is doing further investigation. After killing tourist businessman Vinayak alias Santosh Baban Godse, accused garage worker Mayur Somvanshi also stabbed himself. The police immediately admitted him to a private hospital in Alephata in the night for treatment. He is undergoing treatment at the police station.
