welfare : Demonstration has been started outside KDMC Headquarters in Kalyan under Conscious Citizens Foundation against several pending civic issues of Municipal Corporation in Kalyan-Dombivali. The dharna started from Monday has been warned by the organization not to withdraw the movement until several issues are resolved.
The agitating people say that 38 acres of land in Titwala is reserved for the Control Hospital and Medical College, but so far the administration has not occupied any place other than occupying it. Reduction in open lade tax of common citizens like builders. The administration is lying about closing the Aadharwadi dumping ground and still wet and dry waste is being dumped there. The roads in Kalyan Dombivali have huge potholes and these roads are not suitable for walking and traffic and should be kept in proper condition. Alleging that the rich people have been given undue compensation, the affected citizens have not yet been rehabilitated and implement it immediately and provide equitable distribution of drinking water in the municipal areas.
