Prayagraj: Mafia Atiq and Ashraf will suffer another loss of 20 crores, preparing to attach properties

Mafia is preparing to give another injury of 20 crores to Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. The properties located in Chakia and Jhalwa of both will be attached under the Gangster Act. For this, permission has been sought from the DM by sending a report on behalf of the police. Among the above properties, Atiq Ahmed’s land is located in Chakia. which he had bought in his own name. Similarly, the police have got information about the valuable lands in Ashraf’s Jhalwa. The present value of the land registered in the name of Atiq is said to be around Rs.6 crore.

While the total value of Ashraf’s lands which have been identified is said to be around 14 crores. Police believe that the said properties were acquired through crime. In such a situation, preparations have been started to attach these properties under the Gangster Act. Police has sent the report to the district administration through higher officials to attach these properties. These properties will be attached as soon as DM’s permission is given.

Keeping an eye on helpful property dealers
Along with taking action on Atiq and Ashraf, the police is keeping an eye on their helpful property dealers. Earlier action was taken on the plotting of some of these by the Prayagraj Development Authority in Jhalwa, Pipri and Mundera. His illegal plotting was demolished. So there are some on whom cases of cheating and extortion in the name of land were also registered. Atiq’s henchmen Mohd. Muslim and Khalid Zafar are also included in this. Recently three cases have been registered against both of them in Dhoomanganj.
