An application was filed in the District Court on Monday in the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court in the Umesh Pal murder case under Dhumanganj police station area. Shaista Parveen, wife of former MP Atiq Ahmed, filed this application through her advocate Vijay Mishra and pleaded that the entire family has been made accused in crime number (114/2023).
On February 24, 2023, at six in the evening, both my minor sons Ejam Ahmed and Aban Ahmed were taken away by the police station Dhumanganj against the law, but till today, February 27, 2023, both my sons are not being traced.
Neither any information is being given by the police station nor legal action is being taken. Expressing fear, the applicant said that the Dhumanganj police should not do any untoward incident with my minor sons. The applicant prayed to the court in the application, that please call the police station Dhumanganj for the report related to the action taken against the law. Due to the strike in the court, the case could not be heard. The decision of this matter is currently pending.
