Money was transferred from the accounts of the company to the accounts of Mukhtar’s son Abbas and other family members. Apart from this, the ED has also got many evidences. On the basis of the same documents, Abbas and Sarjeel were questioned by the officials on Thursday.
Seeing the evidence of money transactions, both remained unanswered. Apart from Vikas Construction, the ED has come to know about many such companies of Purvanchal, whose turnover is in lakhs but the houses and living conditions of their owners are not of that standard. The most important thing about these companies is that all the owners are either directly related to Mukhtar or are his relatives or close friends.

Some of the owners of these companies are residents of Kareli and Nurullah Road in Prayagraj. ED sources said that the scope of investigation is increasing. This includes not only Mukhtar’s family, but also his friends and distant relatives of friends. As the evidence becomes available, people under suspicion will be called for questioning.
