The teacher who took selfie with DM’s shoulder has been suspended. BSA was not in favor of taking action against the teacher. But, when the DM’s displeasure came to know, the order for suspension of the teacher had to be issued on Saturday evening. Although the action of suspension has been done on the same date on which the teacher did this act.
District Magistrate Dr. Nitin Bansal had arrived as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the District Children’s Sports Competition of the Basic Education Department at the stadium on Friday. Lalit Kumar Mishra, Principal of Primary School Chalakpur of Belkharnathdham block also reached as soon as the wreath-laying round started. According to eyewitnesses, after garlanding the teachers, they started taking selfies by placing their hands on the District Magistrate’s shoulders. Seeing this act of the teacher, the DM expressed displeasure. After which BSA had stopped the program of wreath laying.
The DM remained firm in the program to encourage the children. Seeing the indiscipline of the teachers in the programme, the DM left without giving the trophy to the winner and the runner-up. Even after this, BSA did not take action against the teacher. On Saturday, when the BSA came to know that the displeasure of the DM has not subsided yet, he issued an order for the suspension of the teacher who was facing the date of 18 November.
Selfie looking for BSA After suspending the teacher, the BSA is now searching for the selfie that the teacher had clicked with his hand on the DM’s shoulder. Actually that selfie is in the teacher’s mobile only. Due to this she is unable to reach the authorities.
