Former minister and SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya arrived as the chief guest at the mass wedding ceremony organized at Inter College, Pariawan, Kalakankar. While talking to journalists here, he said that on the controversy over the chaupai of Ramcharit Manas written by Goswami Tulsi Das, he said that we are not opposing any religion, society, sage, saint, mahant. Some verses written in Ramcharit Manas are being opposed.
I am talking about banning the humiliation and beating of Dalits, backward and women in these cattle. It is said that only some caste people are protesting against his statement.
