Porine Shakkal Ladhwali, Sonyachi paste was hidden in the underwear, but the police caught smuggling of 1 crore

Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala Police on Monday caught a 19-year-old Tarunila outside the Kozhikode airport. For smuggling gold worth less than one crore rupees in undergarments, the police have slapped the beds. Taruniche Nao Shahla is a native of Kasaragod district. She would have arrived at Kozhikode International Airport from Dubai.

It would have been successful to take the smuggled gold through the customs check. Only the Kerala Police under the leadership of Malappuram’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Suchit Das had received specific information about the smuggling of gold carried out by them, they waited outside the airport at Shahlachi and seized it there.

It is only the rival gang that should have given the information to the police. While in police custody, Shahlane initially demanded that she be released after denying she was smuggling gold. Checking his luggage also proved futile.

The police did not give up and after examining his body, they found one thousand 884 grams of gold paste worth one crore rupees hidden in three packets. The same pocket would have stuck to her underwear.

According to the report given by the local media, Shahla, who is married, would have gone to Dubai last week to meet her husband and for the interview. Tila would have been given 60 thousand rupees for a career (carrier) if a ‘friend’ had given him gold.
