Shinzo Abe State Funeral: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Mod) will visit Japan on 27 September. PM Modi will take part in the State Funeral program of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe there. Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe died on 8 July.

According to media reports, PM Modi will also meet Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, a close aide of Shinzo Abe, during his visit. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi expressed deep grief over the killing of Abe last month, saying that Abe had dedicated his entire life to making Japan and the world a better place.
