Pimpri: The Hinjewadi Police of Pimpri-Chinchwad has arrested the caretaker who stole jewelry from the old age home. Jewelery worth Rs 2 lakh 35 thousand was seized from him. The arrested caretaker has been identified as Sanket Manikrao Jhade (20). A complaint has been lodged against him by Gokarna Babasaheb Babalkar (44).
According to the police, the plaintiff woman runs the Jiwla Old Age Home in Sus. Sanket Jhade was working as a caretaker in this old age home. On August 19, the plaintiff had kept gold jewelery weighing 47 grams in the kitchen. Meanwhile, on October 11, Jhade suddenly went to his village. Then on October 16, when the plaintiff looked for the ornaments on Diwali, they could not be found.

Suspicion on the haste to go to the village
The caretaker Jhade was supposed to go to the village after Diwali, however he left the village before Diwali. Also he told the plaintiff that I would not return to work. This increased his suspicion even more. As a result, the plaintiff lodged a complaint against the caretaker Jhade at the Hinjewadi police station. A police team was sent to Khok in Parbhani district. From there Sanket Jhade was taken into custody and arrested on 18 October. Police have recovered four gold rings, a bracelet and a gold chain worth Rs 2 lakh 35 thousand from Jhade.
