In this incident of murder, the deceased woman has been identified as Savita Namdev Rathod (30). Police have detained Namdev Waluchand Rathore (35), husband of Savita, a suspected accused in the case. Savita’s mother Kamal Gopichand Rathod (55) has filed a complaint in this matter. The accused Namdev Rathod is addicted to alcohol. On Saturday night, in a state of intoxication, he attacked his wife Savita with a sharp weapon. Savita, who was seriously injured in his attack, died on the spot. The accused asked wife Savita to take their 7-year-old son Abhijeet to their native village Sangli, to which she refused.
