Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the world’s longest river cruise Ganga Vilas from Varanasi on Friday. This grand and divine river cruise cruise will complete the journey of about 3200 kms from Varanasi via Bangladesh to Dibrugarh in Assam in 51 days with 32 tourists from Switzerland. 50 tourist places will be connected with 27 rivers in the yatra. Its furniture, crockery, color and design of the rooms will reflect the post-1960 India. The pictures of the cruise that have come out are panoramic and present a view of its grandeur.

Ganga Vilas Cruise set to set sail on world’s longest cruise journey is an example of self-reliant India. The interiors of the Cruise have been designed keeping in mind the culture and heritage of the country. White, pink, red and pastel colors have been used in the interior. The wooden flooring and the better coordination of colors are the most liked by the tourists. Ganga Vilas Cruise’s official sailing is likely to start from September, yet bookings for the cruise are full for the next two years.

Raj Singh, director of Ganga Cruise, told that this cruise is completely made in India. There are 40 crew members from several states across the country. The length of the cruise is 62.5 meters and the width is 12.8 meters. It has a total of 18 suites for the tourists to stay. There is also a 40 seater restaurant, spa room and three sundecks. Along with this, music has also been arranged. There is accommodation for a total of 80 passengers including 32 tourists.

A suite in Ganga Vilas has been booked for Rs 38 lakh. The suite has been booked by multiple travelers together. In such a situation, an expenditure of Rs 13 lakh has been incurred on the part of a passenger. The fare is different for different travel slots. The Incredible Banaras package costs Rs 1.12 lakh. This package includes tourism from Ganga Ghat to Ramnagar. This journey will be of four days.

At the same time, the fare for a day’s journey in Banaras is 300 dollars i.e. about 25 thousand rupees. The fare for the Kolkata-Banaras package is Rs 4 lakh 37 thousand 250. The fare for traveling from Kolkata to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh is also the same. 2 lakh 92 thousand 875 will have to be paid for Kolkata to Murshidabad round trip (eight days).

Raj Singh, director of Antara Cruises Pvt Ltd, says that the cruise has three decks. There are different facilities on all three decks. Cruise is completely eco friendly. The wastes are collected at one place and disposed of safely. To keep the pollution level zero, high speed diesel is being used as fuel. The oil spreaders in it prevent diesel from going into the Ganges. Cruise has the capacity to store 60 thousand liters of water.
