Nagpur. On October 11, 2022, a complaint was filed against Ajit Parse at the Kotwali police station on behalf of Rajesh Murkute after he was cheated in the name of getting government approval for starting Homeopathic College and Yash Global Trade Link. Even after registering a complaint regarding the fraud, no arrest has been made by the police till now. To avoid arrest, a petition for interim bail was filed in the High Court on behalf of Parse.

During the hearing on this, the court expressed displeasure over the functioning of the police. Judge Anil Pansare said in the order that if custody is required for interrogation of the petitioner, then what has been done so far to arrest him. While he does not even have any kind of judicial protection. The court ordered the investigating officer to file an affidavit with all the answers. On behalf of the petitioner DV Assistant public prosecutor Sanjay Doifode appeared on behalf of Chauhan and the government.

…so why no charge sheet yet?

Raising many questions on the functioning of the police, the court said in the order that since the FIR was registered in October, the final report has not been filed till now. Why the final report has not been filed. The order was given to the investigating officer to answer this also. Even if the police does not want the custody of the petitioner for questioning, then why the charge sheet has not been filed till now. Ordered to answer this as well. It is notable that orders were issued by the High Court on February 10 as well. According to these orders, after interrogating the petitioner, a report had to be filed in the High Court on all the points, for which some time was requested by the government. The court granted time but also gave strict orders to reply with the said information.

last chance to file reply

The court made it clear in the order that the police now have the last chance to file a reply. If the reply is not filed by March 21, the court will hear and issue the order. It is worth mentioning that last time the court had given orders to the investigating officer to interrogate Parse in the hospital itself and make a video if his health is normal. It was told by the investigating officer that Parse was given a list of questions to be answered. Parse has given the answers but all the answers are unclear. Even Parse is not cooperating in the investigation.
