QuettaAn explosion near a railway line in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on Friday derailed six coaches of a train going from Mach to Peshawar, injuring eight passengers. A railway spokesperson gave this information.
The blast occurred in Paneer area of Bolan district of Balochistan province when the Peshawar-bound Jafar Express was passing through the area. Pakistan Railways spokesman Muhammad Kashif confirmed that the massive explosion derailed six bogies of the train, injuring eight passengers.

“It appears that the blast was triggered by a remote control device,” he told don.com. He said rescue teams were rushed to the spot and the damaged track was repaired. The injured were sent to the hospital for treatment. (agency)
