The small district of Dungarpur in Rajasthan has been the site of a shocking revelation in the case of a minor girl who had gone missing two and a half months ago. According to the information provided by the police station of Nithowa, it is believed that the young girl had been taken away by her lover, who strangled her to death and hid her body underneath a tree cover in the forest. It seems that the suspect Priyakarala was suspicious of the girl’s relationship with someone else. After an investigation that lasted for a month and a half, the police were able to locate the girl, Sangada, in the forest of Ganodia and arrest the offender.
The incident came to light when in January, the father of the missing child filed a complaint of alleged kidnapping. Taking the matter seriously, the police registered a case and started their investigation in search of the missing girl. Unfortunately, the whereabouts of the minor girl were nowhere to be found, while the suspect accused of the crime, Tarunhi, could not be identified and arrested. Subsequently, the police were forced to take into custody another suspect, Purushottam Bargot, and after the interrogation he admitted to abducting and killing the girl.
Purushottam revealed that on December 28th of the previous year,he had taken the underage girl away. He also said that he had strangled her to death and kept her body in the woods in a place covered with wood. Following his confession, the police made their way towards the site in the Ganodia Forest, where they uncovered the young Mulacha Sangada buried under a stone on the premises of the accused. The police then took the girl to the Sangada District Hospital for an autopsy.
The news of the girl’s murder left her family members in distress. However, the police are still looking into the case, trying to get to the bottom of all the facts and truths related to the incident. Though it may be difficult to uncover the whole truth, the police are doing their best to investigate the situation and ensure justice for the deceased.
The case of minor girl’s disappearance, abduction, and murder has acted as a wake-up call for everyone, highlighting the importance of safety and security of all minors, particularly young girls.
