Amravati : Kiran Kumar Reddy, the last Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh and Congress leader, has taken a big decision. Kirankumar Reddy has got all the posts in the party to resign. Reddy has sent a one-line resignation letter to Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. Through that letter, he has said that he is resigning from the primary membership of the Congress.

Kiran Kumar Reddy has served as the Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh. He would have been the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the period from 2010 to 2014. Reddy is likely to join the BJP after resigning from the Congress post. The UPA government at the center would have taken the decision to divide Andhra Pradesh and create two states. The proposal for creation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states would have been approved. Or Kiran Kumar Reddy would have got the post of resignation opposing the resolution and at that time also he would have decided to come out of the party.

In 2014, Kirankumar Reddy would have resigned from the Congress and formed the Jai Samaikya Andhra Party.
