Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: For the last several years, the dream of 64 candidates, who were dreaming of getting appointment in the Municipal Corporation on the Compassionate Element, has come true. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chowdhary has given appointment to 64 candidates fulfilling their demands. A total of 64 candidates are being appointed in the Compassionate and Para Group K and Group D cadres. Regarding that, on March 9, all the candidates were called in front and their votes were known. Accordingly, after taking charge, those 64 candidates will be appointed in the required department.

Tell that hundreds of officers and employees have retired in the Municipal Corporation for the last 10 years. On the other hand, due to non-availability of new recruitment in the Municipal Corporation for years, many obstacles are being created in the work of the Municipal Administration. In the last few years, the municipal administration is running the work by recruiting employees through private agencies. Dr. Abhijit Chowdhary, who took over as the Municipal Commissioner about 6 months ago, has intensified his efforts to speed up the recruitment process in the Municipal Corporation. He has done all the planning for adopting the recruitment process by taking all the information about the vacant posts of class-1 to class-3.

There will be speed in the works of various zone offices

Here, while giving relief to the people who have been waiting for jobs on compassionate grounds for years, the Municipal Commissioner called them for discussion. After which the Municipal Commissioner has given jobs to a total of 64 candidates on compassionate grounds. The 64 candidates who will be given jobs in the Municipal Corporation on compassionate grounds include 18 Clerk and Typist, 05 Clerk in Accounts Department, 01 Driver, 18 Safai Kamgar. This recruitment will speed up the functioning of various zone offices in the city. In particular, by removing the shortage of manpower in the Accounts Department of the Municipal Corporation, the common citizens will get relief by completing their work soon. Deputy Commissioner Aparna Thete said that soon these 64 candidates would be appointed in different departments.
