Nov Delhi : There has been an increase of eight per cent in the use of transactional notes till December 2022. The same amount is 31.92 lakh crore,’ Union Finance Minister Nirmala Seemaraman gave this information on Monday. ‘Various factors like economic growth, interest rate level etc are responsible for the increase in note trade,’ he replied in the Lok Sabha.

The number of notes in circulation depends on many factors such as increase in the production of dardoi, inflation, substitute for spoiled notes and increase in the practice of stopping. He said that reduction in budget, economy and black money ban are the mission of the government. Also, he pointed out that the digital economy is full of knowledge. He mentioned that the Reserve Bank and the government are trying to reduce the use of cash by promoting digital practices.

– ‘The discount given for transactions done through debit cards should be reasonable, or in view of accepting the transactions done through debit cards, the burden of fees should be put on the customers,’ the Reserve Bank has given advice to other banks. After January 1, 2020, if any fee is collected in this way, then the revenue department has given such advice to the banks to get it processed immediately.

– In Yanda October, the rate of consumer food grains would have been 7.01 percent. In November it fell to 4.67 percent

– There was no sudden increase in branch rate.

– The investment in theater is increasing in the country, in the financial year 2020-21, about 8,197 crore dollars were invested. It increased to about $ 8,483 crore in the year 2021-22.
