Nagpur. A strange attitude of the municipal administration has come to the fore. Water supply to the citizens in Kannamvarnagar located on Wardha Road has been stopped for the last 6 months but bills are being sent to them regularly. There is a lot of anger among the citizens due to this miracle of the city administration. Citizens Jyoti Sathe and Rajendra Kulkarni told that the condition of the residents of the township is deteriorating due to the stoppage of water supply.
The water supply has stopped for the last 6 months and on top of that water is not being given even from tankers. The magic on that is that the work of sending the water bill regularly is being done. Describing this attitude as extremely regrettable, the citizens have demanded immediate water supply.
No effect of written complaint
Citizens including Nagpur Jayant Kulkarni, Subhashchandra Lanjewar told that despite written complaints have been made several times to the municipal administration, such an important facility is not being started. The officers are sitting with their ears closed. There is an atmosphere of anger among the citizens against the insensitivity of the officers. It is regrettable that the public representatives of the area are also sitting lethargic and apathetic.
For the last 6 months there is neither water in the tap nor water is being given from the tanker. Due to which the citizens are forced to bring water for themselves from the surrounding areas. The surprising thing is that in the city which claims to be a smart city, the municipal administration is also neglecting to provide water to the citizens.
