The video is broadly shared on the web, and most of the customers are claiming that providing prayer in a public area is against the law. On the opposite hand, a number of customers have requested what’s unsuitable with providing prayers for the well-being of their family members.
Meanwhile, the hospital authorities have talked about that they’ve warned the lady together with the hospital workers in opposition to such exercise.
“We have issued a strict warning against such activities in the ward. It is a public place,” the Chief Medical Superintendent on the Tej Bahadur Sapru Hospital, Dr. MK Akhauri was quoted as saying by NDTV
“We have instructed all ward in-charges not to allow such a thing. We told the woman not to do it again, too. We will decide on further action after our probe report is in,” he added.
The police responded to the Tweet and wrote, “Cognizance of the video has been taken, and the concerned has been directed to take the necessary action as per rules.” However, hours later, the police justified in a tweet in Hindi, that the act was not thought-about felony.
Further, it was revealed that the lady was the attendant of the affected person who was admitted to the dengue ward.
Another comparable incident befell two months again the place a bunch of Hindu right-wing teams protested in opposition to individuals providing namaz at Lulu Mall in Lucknow. People who had been providing prayer within the Mall had been arrested by the police. However, later, they had been granted bail.
