Varanasi. The difficulties of the people involved in the murder of Nitesh Singh Bablu, history sheeter and bus operator of Sarnath police station, will increase once again. The High Court has ordered a fresh probe. In this murder case, the name of a former Bahubali MP from Purvanchal, ruling party MLA and Azamgarh’s white collar came to the fore, but the investigation could not progress further.
The shooters had killed Bablu by firing indiscriminately while he was riding in a bulletproof SUV in front of Shivpur Sadar tehsil. More than three years have passed, but till now no concrete action has been taken by the Varanasi police in the Bablu murder case. This was the reason that the High Court handed over the investigation of this case to CBCID. Now CBCID will investigate Bablu murder case. Actually, Nitesh Singh Bablu, a native of Odra village under Dhanapur police station of Chandauli, lived in Ashapur of Sarnath. Bablu’s father is retired from the forest department as a ranger. Bablu’s contract was running in the forest department. Buses with the name Saheli also used to ply on the Ghazipur-Varanasi, Sonbhadra route. Nitesh Singh Bablu had a lot of pride in Varuna Par region.
The main shooter of the massacre was killed in Lucknow after a year and a half
On the afternoon of September 30, 2019, Nitesh was about to sit in his bullet proof vehicle after completing his work from Sadar Tehsil when the shooter Girdhari and his fellow shooter fired indiscriminately and killed him. Nitesh was hit by a total of six bullets. After this, both the miscreants easily escaped. Bablu, who was armed with a state-of-the-art licensed weapon, was not even given a chance to recover by the shooters. At that time, it was revealed in the police investigation that the shooter Kanhaiya Vishwakarma alias Doctor alias Girdhari, a resident of Cholapur, close to a former Bahubali MP from Purvanchal, had fired indiscriminately on Bablu along with his four companions. Girdhari, who was the main shooter in Nitesh Singh Bablu and Mau’s Gohna former block chief Ajit Singh murder case, was killed in an encounter with the police in Lucknow on 15 February 2021. The Varanasi police had announced a reward of one lakh on Girdhari.
The shooter was staying in the flat of the white collar
According to police sources, Girdhari stayed in a white-collar flat in Shivpur in Azamgarh. After the murder of Nitesh, a picture was going viral on social media for a long time, in which apart from that white-collar man of Azamgarh, there were famous faces of different districts of Purvanchal associated with the world of crime.
