NIA Raids: NIA and ED raids are going on across the country regarding the Terror funding case. Meanwhile, a big news is coming out from Delhi. PFI President Parvez and his brother have been arrested from here. Apart from this, PFI’s national secretary VP Nazruddin has also been taken into custody. It has been told that the NIA team has taken them with them. NIA is conducting raids in 10 states of the country. During this, more than 100 people have been detained.

NIA’s biggest raid
It was told by the officials that during the raids, the NIA and the ED detained more than 100 activists of the Popular Front of India (PFI) for allegedly supporting the terrorists. According to officials, the raids are being conducted mainly in South India and the NIA has termed it as the “biggest investigation operation ever”. The NIA said raids are being conducted at the hideouts of those involved in allegedly funding terrorists, arranging training for them and tricking people into joining proscribed organisations.

According to officials, raids are being conducted in ten states and during this time around 100 activists, including top PFI leaders, have been detained. The PFI issued a statement saying, “The houses of national, state level and local leaders of PFI are being raided. Raids are also being conducted at the state committee office.” There have been 5 arrests from Andhra Pradesh, 9 from Assam, 3 from Delhi, 20 from Karnataka, 22 from Kerala, 4 from MP and 20 from Maharashtra.

Regarding this raid, PFI said, “We strongly oppose the misuse of central agencies by the fascist regime to suppress the voice of protest.” At present, the round of arrest of PFI leaders and members is going on.
