VIP darshan will not be possible in Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple on January 1. In view of the possibilities of crowd in the temple, the temple administration has closed all types of tickets and the protocol has also been restricted. In view of the crowd of devotees coming to the temple till late night on January 1, preparations were going on from the side of the temple administration.
Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple’s Chief Executive Officer Sunil Kumar Verma said that in view of the crowd on Sunday, all types of tickets have been closed, while the protocol will also be restricted. Told that like before, mobile electronic gadgets etc. will be banned from any gate in the temple premises.

The entrance from which the devotee will enter, his evacuation will also be done in the same direction. For this, barricading has been done all around by the temple administration. Visitors coming from Maidagin will go to Mandir Chowk via Chattadwar. After this, going to the northern gate of the sanctum sanctorum, we will worship.
Visitors coming from the Ganga side will be able to offer water to Baba at the eastern gate of the temple. Visitors coming from the Saraswati Gate will be able to offer water to Baba at the southern gate of the sanctum sanctorum and those coming from the Dhundhiraj entrance will be able to offer water to Baba from the western gate of the sanctum sanctorum.
The Chief Executive Officer said that in view of the crowd, a public announcement system and a lost and found center have been set up around the entire complex and the temple. Arrangements have been made for drinking water by placing water troughs at various places. Ambulance and medical department team will also be stationed near the temple for any emergency.
The police is also alert regarding the celebration of the new year. From evening till late night, the police conducted a checking operation across the city. Police searched hotels, lodges, guest houses in Godaulia, Chowk and Madagin areas. CC cameras and IDs were checked. Hotels in rural areas adjacent to the ring road and highway were searched. Police caught drug addicts while checking with breath analyzer till late night. He was released after strict instructions.
