One of the most sacred festivals of Hindu religion ‘Sharadiya Navratri’ is starting from Monday, 26 September, which will be celebrated till 4 October, Tuesday. At the same time, the great festival of Dussehra will be celebrated on 5 October. The nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped during the nine days of Navratri dedicated to the various forms of Goddess Adishakti.
These nine days of Navratri are considered very auspicious from the religious point of view. During this nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. In Navratri, whoever worships Mother Jagdamba with full devotion, happiness and peace reside in his life and family. It is said that if any remedy, ritual or mantra is chanted during Shardiya Navratri, it definitely results. Apart from this, there are some tasks which should not be done during Navratri or else Maa Durga may get angry. Let us know which are the things which should be avoided during Navratri-

According to religious scriptures, special care should be taken of satvik food during Navratri. Do not consume onion, garlic and meat liquor for days. Complete sattvik diet should be taken for nine days of Navratri.
During Shardiya Navratri, if you have established a Kalash, Mata ki Chowki or Akhand Jyoti in your house, then do not leave the house empty. It is very important to have one person in the house. Also, avoid sleeping during the day during Navratri.
It is said that the person observing the fast should not spend his time in useless things but in religious texts till the holy days of Navratri. One can recite Durga Chalisa or Durga Saptashati on these days. With this Maa Durga will be pleased with you.
According to the scriptures, girls should not be insulted at all during Navratri. By the way, girls should never be insulted. Girls are considered to be the form of Maa Durga. For this reason, do not allow any disrespect towards any girl or woman during Navratri. Maa Durga can get angry due to insult of any girl during Navratri.
