Nashik: There has been a huge rush of passengers at the bus stands of the city for the last few days. On Sunday, there was a rush of passengers at the new CBS, old CBS as well as the Highway Bus Stand in the city. After Diwali, when many people started their return journey, there was a crowd of passengers. In view of the Diwali festival, there was a holiday for many days in the schools and colleges. There were also holidays in government and private offices. Many people celebrated Diwali in their homes, while many people chose to go on tourism during the Diwali holiday. After the end of the holiday, there was a gathering of people at the bus stand to return home.
In view of the rush of passengers, additional buses were arranged by the Maharashtra State Transport Corporation. For Pune, Dhulia, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, buses without conductors were dropped from the new CBS, while for Dhulia, Nandurbar, Sakri, Satana, Kalwan, Devla buses were being dropped from the old CBS. The buses got good response from the passengers on various routes.

Regular fare will be charged from tomorrow
Changed fare hike was announced by ST Mahamandal during Diwali season. From October 21, an additional fare ranging from Rs 15 to Rs 50 was charged from the passengers. This fare hike was done only till 31 October, so the fare will be charged as before November 1.
