Nagpur. A sensational incident of murder took place late on Wednesday night in Ajni police station area. A criminal who came out of jail on parole was killed by his friend along with his relatives. The deceased was said to be Ritesh alias Vicky Jai Singh Chandel (30), a resident of Manish Nagar. The accused include Parvati Nagar resident Umashankar alias Rakesh Pralhad Pali (33), his brothers Somu Pali, Lalu Pali, nephew Shubham Kokas and 2 unknown accused. The police arrested Shubham, Somu and Lalu. 2 suspects are also in the custody of the police. His role is being ascertained. The search for Rakesh continues with enthusiasm.

In the year 2013, Rakesh, along with Vicky Chandel and Sanjay alias Bandya Waghade, had killed Amit alias Pappu Budhbavre, a resident of Chuna Bhatti. In this case, the district court convicted all the three accused and sentenced them to life imprisonment. Since then the accused were serving sentence in Nagpur Central Jail. It is said that 10 days back all the three accused were released from jail on parole. Vicky was going to Manishnagar with his female friend Sarita Raju Khobragade (27) around 11.30 pm on Wednesday night.
Rakesh’s brother Somu and nephew Shubham have a Panthela near Narendra Nagar Chowk. Vicky stopped at the panthele to have a cigarette. Meanwhile, Vicky got into an argument with Somu for staring. There was a fierce fight between the two. Shubham and others also lashed out at Vicky. When Sarita raised scissors in her hand and protested against them, then the dispute was settled. Vicky and Sarita were on their way home when Shubham and Somu came from behind with their two companions. Rakesh has called him to meet, threatening him and asking him to come along.

Meanwhile, Shubham brought the axe. He attacked Vicky’s neck with an axe. Other accused started showering sticks on him. Sarita ran to another street to save her life.
